Jin Shin Jyutsu® (JSJ) acupressure links the mind and digestion which both contribute to satisfaction.  Notice the digestive language describing bothersome people and events.  “I can’t stomach it!”  “It just sickens me.”  “What he did makes me want to throw up.”  What you find intolerable mentally, you might describe as indigestible physically, something you reject.  You intuitively understand your digestion and satisfaction extend beyond how well you process what you ate for breakfast.

The role your mind plays in satisfaction depends largely upon how you respond to what you experience.  Insatiable minds want more, more, MORE, and so they never rest, never allow enjoyment or satisfaction to register.  Perfectionism, raising the bar – a nice way of saying “never satisfied”, and judgment all steal satisfaction.

In regards to physical digestion, the modified maxim “You are what and how you eat” applies.  Physical satiation comes from providing your body with a variety of nutritious foods in appropriate quantities.  Consciously choosing quality food supports long-term satisfaction and health whereas eating mindfully restores enjoyment in the moment.

For those interested in Jin Shin Jyutsu, Safety Energy Locks (SELs) for the mind and digestion reside at the physical and energetic waistline.  SEL 14 invites nourishment from everything you ingest, be it food, books, movies, careers, or relationships.  SEL 9, the point corresponding to SEL 14 on the back of the body, connects to satisfaction as well as forgiveness, bringing you more fully into now by releasing the past.  SEL 12 rules both 9 and 14, inviting “perfect happiness now.”  For self-helps, SEL 19 replaces the hard-to-reach SEL 9.  All three SELS pertain to grief, so holding your ring finger also supports satisfaction.

Please see these pages for help with harmonizing: Jin Shin Jyutsu® Organ Function Self-Helps Jin Shin Jyutsu® Finger Holds As always with self-helps, you can hold them for thirty-six in-breaths and out-breaths, a fixed length of time, or until it feels done.

For many, the holiday season triggers more dissatisfaction than enjoyment.  Plus physical overindulgence and lack of exercise during the holidays can undermine your physical well-being.  How do you invite and sustain mental and physical satisfaction on a regular basis and particularly in times of stress?

About three weeks ago, my 56-year-old physically fit husband experienced paralysis of his right side following a stroke. Today it's like his stroke never happened.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does a typical Energy Quartet session go?

We open with a 45 minute or so Akashic Records consultation. The revealed themes, patterns, and disharmonies drive the table work in conjunction with your "pulses," body reading, and my intuitive insights. A follow-up e-mail documents what occurs during the energy work and includes customized self-helps.

What should I wear to receive table work?

In this work, you remain fully clothed. Just wear whatever will feel comfortable while lying on my massage table. If it's a remote session, I'll ask you to rest while I send energy.

How do I prepare for a session?

Please consider the personal or interpersonal disharmony that led you to me and how you would like it to shift. During the session, we'll explore and address the origins and drivers of each "project."

Are the Akashic Records predictive?

No, the records aren’t a good resource for predictions. If there’s something you hope will happen, the records might reveal a series of necessary steps to reach your desired outcome but not the timing. For predictions, please consult a good psychic or astrologer!

Why can't children receive Akashic Records consultations?

Minors are under their parents' legal and energetic jurisdiction until they are 18, regardless of their maturity level.

NEED HELP CHOOSING A SESSION?

The greatest benefit occurs when I incorporate all four modalities I practice. The option without the Akashic Records is appropriate for children under 18 who cannot receive readings. A stand-alone reading can bring insight and healing but does not involve my direct interaction with your energetic and physical bodies like my other practices.

Do you record Akashic Records consultations?

No, but you are welcome to record sessions yourself.

Why do self-helps?

Self-helps, both from Jin Shin Jyutsu and the Embodied Energy System, support your continued harmony, accelerate your evolution, and empower you. Plus they make you sparkly!
